Dr. Kornblatt has been serving the Chicagoland area for nearly 25 years with the latest and most innovative orthopaedic procedures. His skill and experience in his private practice have been recognized so that he was named team doctor for two NBA championship seasons with the Bulls basketball team (8 years in total) and several years with the Chicago Wolves hockey team.
Having had the unique opportunity to work with both amateur and professional athletes, Dr. Kornblatt appreciates the unique physical and medical demands placed on high level competitors. Whenever possible, he employs his vast training in arthroscopy to not only minimize post-surgical discomfort, but more importantly hasten the early return of his patients to competition, work and everyday life.
When closed arthroscopic procedures are not called for, Dr. Kornblatt applies minimally invasive procedures for total reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder. Of course, as well as providing his expertise with these demanding procedures, Dr. Kornblatt practices General Orthopaedics and has extensive experience in the treatment of fracture management.
In his free time, the doctor enjoys golf, skiing and spending time with his family. Education
